‘WHY NIGERIANS’ LIFE EXPECTANCY IS FALLING’ – ENOUGH OF TALKS AND TIME FOR ACTION

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a composite statistic developed by the United Nations to measure and rank countries' levels of social and economic development based on four criteria: Life expectancy at birth, mean years of schooling, expected years of schooling and gross national income per capita. In simple terms it is the actual measurement of the development of people since economic growth alone can't explain development.

But, it is very unfortunate that over the years in Nigeria, no serious attention has been accorded to the nation’s HDI reports. The simple reason is because, the content of the reports are usually not news to us. The content of these reports no longer pricks the heart of our leaders. Of course why should it bother them; have you ever seen any of them queue up for treatment at any of our government owned hospitals?

That is why you should be concerned about your health. The HDI report that pegs life expectancy in Nigeria at 52years should be a thing of concern to you. Life expectancy is the average expected length of life: the number of years that somebody can be expected to live. And, I have even observed that so many people little above 40years of age in Nigeria would have started noticing some symptoms of chronic diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, low sexual performance, etc.

This is an obvious reality of our time that we cannot fold our hands and be waiting for the government to fight for us. Health and wellness is a personal choice. The World Health Organisation (WHO) and Centre for Disease Control (CDC) have recommended healthy diet and physical exercise for a healthy living; daily hustling has made it very difficult for many people to keep this routine.

Speaking at the grand finale of The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM), a medical expert, Dr. Okebaram Chukwudi, attributed decline in life expectancy level among Nigerians to overreliance on curative medicine as opposed to practice of preventive medicine across board. According to him, tendency by state actors and the general populace to seek treatment for ailment, rather than preventive techniques is the reason life expectancy is falling.
He said, “We believe that preventive medicine is the way to go to stay healthy. It is not enough for people to wait until they are sick before they see a physician.”

On 22nd October 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland, the World Health Organization (WHO) released a new report which highlights the urgent need to reduce emissions of black carbon, ozone and methane - as well as carbon dioxide because of their adverse effects on our health. According to the WHO report, Black carbon, ozone and methane (short-lived climate pollutants) contribute significantly to the more than 7 million premature deaths annually linked to air pollution.

Today our government’s major priorities are the battle against corruption and insurgency, it is certain that the issue of emissions of black carbon, ozone and methane will be the least in government areas of concern. But, it concerns your health. That is why you must not fold your hands and pretend that nothing is happening.

“Every day, these pollutants threaten the health of men, women and children,” says Dr Flavia Bustreo, Assistant Director-General at WHO. That is why I have decided to write this post as a way of creating awareness on the need for us to take proactive steps. I have observed that death is no more a strange thing in Nigeria; terrorists are killing people daily, diseases are killing people so, the pains of death does not cause any worry for our leaders. That is why it should concern you because it is about you.

GLUTATHIONE IS THE BEST PREVENTIVE SOLUTION THAT YOU NEED.
Glutathione is probably the body's most important cellular defense against free radical damage such as black carbon, ozone and methane. It's the most important molecule you need to stay healthy and prevent disease. Low levels of glutathione are linked to many diseases such as aging problems, cancer, heart disease, and about 70 chronic diseases.

The subject of glutathione has become a central focus in the search for solutions to serious health challenges.  In fact, there are currently more than 98,000 articles and studies published on PubMed - the official medical research library of the United States of America government. It is likely that you have never heard about it before and the simple reason for that is because many doctors here do not know how to address the epidemic deficiency of this critical life-giving molecule.

Glutathione is the mother of all antioxidants, the master detoxifier and maestro of the immune system. The good news is that your body produces its own glutathione. The bad news is that poor diet, pollution, toxins, medications, stress, trauma, aging, infections and radiation all deplete your glutathione.

This leaves you susceptible to unrestrained cell disintegration from oxidative stress, free radicals, infections and cancer. And your liver gets overloaded and damaged, making it unable to do its job of detoxification.

Glutathione is a very simple molecule that is produced naturally all the time in your body. It is a combination of three simple building blocks of protein or amino acids - cysteine, glycine and glutamine.

The secret of its power is the sulfur (SH) chemical groups it contains. Sulfur is a sticky, smelly molecule. It acts like fly paper and all the bad things in the body stick onto it, including free radicals and toxins like mercury and other heavy metals.

THE IMPORTANCE OF GLUTATHIONE IN PROTECTING AGAINST CHRONIC ILLNESS

Glutathione is also critical in helping your immune system do its job of fighting infections and preventing cancer. That's why studies show that it can help in the treatment of AIDS. Glutathione is also the most critical and integral part of your detoxification system. All the toxins stick onto glutathione, which then carries them into the bile and the stool -- and out of your body.

And lastly, it also helps us reach peak mental and physical function. Research has shown that raised glutathione levels decrease muscle damage, reduce recovery time, increase strength and endurance and shift metabolism from fat production to muscle development.

A GLUTATHIONE SUPPORT SUPPLEMENT WITH UNCONTESTED SUPERIORITY
As noted above, one of the major reasons why many doctors do not know much about glutathione is because not until recently, the only available option for increasing the body’s glutathione level is through an intravenous injection that was done in very few specialist medical centres. But today, by the grace of God, Max International has invented a medical breakthrough technology known as Ribocein technology for boosting the glutathione level of the body.
RiboCeine contains a nutrient that spurs the cells in the body to increase their production of glutathione. In other words, this supplement doesn't add artificial glutathione to the body. Instead, it prompts the body to increase the production of this amazing molecule naturally.

You won't find a better way to enjoy on-demand production of this important molecule. Max International’s Cellgevity (glutathione Supplement) offers uncontested superiority for exceptional glutathione production, and it is available now in Nigeria. In no time, you will start enjoying the amazing benefits of having improved levels of glutathione in your body.
